Michael Flynn’s journey from QNut to QTurd

Mike Flynn has had quite a journey. It started when Trump picked him as his national security advisor, but then he was caught lying to the FBI (twice!). After that, he went full-blown QNut and made tons of money selling shitty merchandise to other QNuts. He was a huuuuge proponent of the mass delusion known as QAnon, attending their rallies and cheering for the U.S. to be overthrown because Trump lost as hard as a losing loser can lose.

Now, though? Well, things are getting…complicated. And it’s super interesting to watch. First we have the long, sordid story of how he got entangled with these dipshits.

How Trump Ally Michael Flynn Nurtured — and Profited From — the QAnon Conspiracy Theory
Flynn hitched his financial fortunes to QAnon at least as early as the summer of 2019, when he was facing a mountain of legal costs, The Intercept’s investigation found. His push to leverage QAnon’s viral popularity with the far-right coincided with his efforts to reverse his guilty plea for lying to the FBI in special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe.

This is where it gets weird. He said a prayer that QNuts think belong to a doomsday cult. The best part is that they may be right! Of course they’re attaching Satan to the narrative, because that’s what they do with everything they’re suspicious of. They’re not exactly critical thinkers.

Michael Flynn to QAnon Believers: I’m Not a Satanist!
But on Tuesday, Flynn appeared on a little-known YouTube channel called Truth Unveiled TV for a very different reason: rebutting the idea that he led a church congregation in a Satanic ritual borrowed from a nuclear doomsday cult.

Here’s the latest: Trump lawyer Lin Wood leaked a phone call he had with Flynn, where Flynn says he thinks QAnon is a disinformation campaign. And now they’re having public spats on social media! This is pure gold. QNuts full of paranoia and recording each other? Yes, please!

‘A Bunch of Kooks’: Michael Flynn Described QAnon as a ‘Disinformation Campaign’ in Recorded Call
In a recording of a phone call purportedly between Trump lawyer Lin Wood and Flynn released late Saturday night, Trump’s disgraced former national security advisor said of QAnon, “I think it’s a disinformation campaign that the CIA created. That’s what I believe. Now, I don’t know that for a fact, but that’s what I think it is. I think it’s a disinformation campaign.”

I frankly don’t give a shit who’s behind the Q thing anymore. I just want to see its highest-profile dirtbags unravel in a fit of shit-flinging and backstabbing, which hopefully trickles down the chain. It’s the little things that bring me joy.

Say it!
