This might be the greatest response to gun-toting GOP candidates I’ve ever seen. Absolutely clever, juvenile, and hilarious! Check out #GOPdildo on Tumblr, it’s a hoot. In the below article he explains why he’s Photoshopping dildos into the hands of Republicans, and his thoughts on gun control are thoughtful and well-stated. He’d like a more moderate approach to gun control than, say, Australia or some other countries, but the key point is that the GOP is hell-bent on taking no action whatsoever. In fact they’re falling all over themselves trying to look more pro-gun than the rest. Meanwhile, innocent people are getting mowed down by a spray of bullets almost every other day while gun sales rocket.
And, let’s face it, these guns really are just extensions of the penis. Guys looooove holding and caressing them, hoping it makes their own “guns” seem a bit larger. Some women like guns too, of course, but men seem to have a special relationship with them. And according to the blog’s author, these guys don’t like their
dicks guns ridiculed.
Why I can’t stop putting dildos into the hands of powerful conservatives
Of course, it being on the Internet, there’s a flipside reaction as well. I’ve been asked to meet people to see their guns, and perhaps to experience getting shot by them, I’ve had people on Twitter tell me all the things they want to do with a dildo to me, and I’ve even had a guy say he’d love to shove his gun up my ass and pull the trigger so I got the full idea of how powerful his weapons are. Usually I block or mute people on Twitter that tell me stuff like that so I don’t have to see it again.
The strangest reaction to me is when someone finds these images “hateful”. I’ve seen the word pop up a few times in responses, and it really throws me how something as harmless as a dildo crudely added to an image is seen ashateful, as if the original photo of someone proudly displaying a weaponcapable of ending anyone’s life instantly is instead seen as righteous. That right there? That is a set of priorities that are fucked up, full stop.
Not exactly subtle, is it?
My thoughts exactly. We’re reaping what they have sown, and all they can do is say they’re praying for the victims…which does absolutely nothing except make you look compassionate and feel good about yourself.
Look, I’m atheist but I get it. I know that many people feel that the only thing they can do is pray, and I know that it makes you feel good. Of course in cases of natural disasters these praying folks could at least donate some money to help the survivors, though I’m sure many don’t because praying (and telling everyone about it on Twitter, naturally) is just easier.
But when it comes to these daily mass shootings, there’s definitely a feeling of helplessness. I understand why peoples’ first reaction is to pray for the victims, and that’s fine…whatever helps you cope in this increasingly shitty world. But when politicians make a big show of it, especially these right-wing champions of gun proliferation and American jingoism, it’s sickening because everyone knows it’s simply lip service and not genuine in the least. Worst of all, they take no actual action because doing so would mean they’d be perceived as “weak” by their frothy-mouthed supporters. Can’t have that, can we? Can’t risk those votes!
Not to mention that these shootings are a huge boost to their religious and racist agendas. I’ll bet Ted Cruz actually gets a raging boner each time news of a new shooting hits the wire. “OMG another one! I hope it was a Muslim! Ohhhh, baby…”
Meanwhile, people keep getting murdered, gun sales spike, and soon it will all happen again. And how fucked-up is it that we’re now used to it? We are a sick, sick country.
Just the name “National Religious Liberties Conference” screams insanity-tinged Christian hysteria. And boy, does it deliver! Gays should be put to death, birth control is made of tiny babies, “Frozen” turns your little girls into lesbians…it’s quite the list of unhinged religious bullshit. And the three most extremely anti-gay GOP candidates are proudly attending this conference in order to tell the world “Yes, we support all this hateful stuff and we wanna run the country. Praise Jesus!” It’s utterly despicable, but we shouldn’t be surprised.
And no, “Frozen” won’t turn your child gay…but it will hook them on bad musicals.
Three GOP Candidates Join Pastor Who Thinks Frozen Turns Kids Gay
Next week, Des Moines, Iowa will play host to the National Religious Liberties Conference—a warm, welcoming place where you get to hear about how birth control literally fills women’s wombs with tiny dead fetus babies and how homosexuals should be put to death. Naturally, GOP candidates Ted Cruz, Bobby Jindal, and Mike Huckabee were more than happy to sign up.
Wow, this is huuuuuge! Look, to any rational person it should be obvious that this commission was a special Hillary Campaign Destruction Unit, given the millions of dollars and three years spent on a single incident. It hasn’t turned up anything that she did wrong, either, and yet they still wish to continue digging until they find something they can pin on her. If you speak up about how shitty this all is, you end up getting the boot like this guy.
Oh, and he’s a conservative Republican, so they can’t spin this into a attack by the evilcommunistleftistliberals. This is going to be very interesting to watch!
GOP to be sued by ex-staffer who admitted Benghazi committee targeted Clinton
Major Bradley Podliska, an Air Force Reserve intelligence officer, had been working on the committee for over nine months when he was fired by Republicans after allegedly refusing to specifically target former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Podliska, a self-described conservative Republican, is now taking legal action and will file a lawsuit against the committee in federal court next month, as reported by The New York Times on Oct. 10.
Podliska claims the committee pushed back on his efforts to investigate the attacks, and instead grew frustrated when he refused to focus only on Clinton’s possible role. In addition, Podliska, who is stationed in Germany, was criticized for taking several weeks off to go on active duty. As The New York Times points out, the Republican retaliation would be a clear violation of the federal “Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act of 1994.”
I find it vastly interesting that so many conservatives aren’t willing to admit that the GOP is holding this country hostage. Instead, they’re saying “Yeah, BOTH sides suck, they’re both to blame for this!” Yeah, nice try. While there is some truth to both sides causing gridlock in a general sense, the blame for this government shutdown lies squarely with the GOP — they are stamping their widdle feet and throwing a nationwide tantrum because they don’t like a law which has ALREADY GONE INTO EFFECT and been deemed Constitutional by our country’s highest court. Whether or not the law is “good” or “bad” is irrelevant to this point. The healthcare law was passed, and how these GOP asshats think they’re justified in defying the law because they didn’t get their way is beyond me. They truly are the Party of Obstruction and Denial.
Government Shutdown: 9 Million Moms And Babies At Risk As WIC Program Halts
The government shutdown may be keeping National Parks closed and furloughed federal workers at home, but worse real-world effects could soon be felt by low-income mothers and their infants — already a marginalized group with unstable food supplies.
Listening to these fucktards on the news, you’d think that the worst effect of their government shutdown is that kids and tourists aren’t able to visit national monuments and parks.
They are the scum of the earth, folks. I hope the aftermath of this shutdown business puts an end to their evil party once and for all. But I know that won’t happen…because like a turd that just won’t let go and drop into the toilet, evil has a way of hanging on.
